Kidpendence Day at Children’s Museum Houston

Date: July 4 | 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Kick off Independence Day with your kids at the Children’s Museum Houston. Witness 21-Mentos geysers erupting in a patriotic salute, join Captain America for an action-packed storytime, and enjoy the Kidpendence Confetti Blast with Captain America and Lady Liberty.

City of Bellaire Fourth of July Parade

Date: July 4 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Watch the festive parade in Bellaire and stay for food, live music, and more! The festival kicks off around 10 a.m. on the Great Lawn and in Loftin Park.

Fourth of July in The Woodlands

Date: July 4 | 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Join The Woodlands for a day filled with delicious food, live entertainment, children’s activities, and family fun. The South County Fourth of July Parade starts at 9 a.m., and the 27th Annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival begins at 6 p.m., featuring multiple bands and a Fireworks Extravaganza at 9:30 p.m.

Shell Freedom Over Texas

Date: July 4

Experience six hours of vibrant festivities and live music along Allen Parkway at the iconic Shell Freedom Over Texas event. Showcasing local, regional, and national talent, this celebration concludes with a spectacular, choreographed fireworks finale. As Houston’s premier Independence Day event, it draws an average of 50,000 attendees and is broadcast live. This year, a portion of food and beverage sales will support the Houston Food Bank. Join us for a memorable and safe celebration of our nation’s birthday!

Freedom Rocks Fest at Lagoonfest Texas

Date: July 3 & 4

Celebrate with two days of non-stop music from incredible tribute bands at Lagoonfest Texas. Sing along to hits from ZZ Top, Fleetwood Mac, and Billy Joel while enjoying delicious food, drinks, and a stunning waterfront setting. This epic event is perfect for making your holiday unforgettable.

4th of July at Kemah Boardwalk

Date: July 4

Arrive early to enjoy thrilling rides, live music, and patriotic displays at Kemah Boardwalk. Entertainment includes performances by Lone Star All-Star Trio and The Slag, with fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m. Don’t miss the Patriot Pass for unlimited admission to Kemah Boardwalk, Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, and Downtown Aquarium from July 4 to July 7.

Live Music at CITYCENTRE

Date: July 4 | 7 – 10 p.m.

Enjoy a free concert at CITYCENTRE featuring Heather Rayleen and the People’s Choice Band. Savor delicious food and beverages from local favorites, and capture perfect photos with an elaborate Independence Day-themed backdrop. Note: This event does not include fireworks.

4th of July Celebration on Skylawn at POST

Date: July 4 | 5 – 10 p.m.

Celebrate atop the POST rooftop with a fantastic view of the City of Houston’s Freedom Over Texas fireworks show. Enjoy live performances, cirque entertainers, balloon artists, face painting, and more, while jamming out to Houston Brass Band and Alias Band.

Star Spangled Salute by Houston Symphony

Date: July 4 | 8:30 p.m.

Celebrate at Miller Outdoor Theatre with patriotic favorites performed by the Houston Symphony, followed by a grand fireworks finale at 10 p.m.

4th of July Celebration in Galveston

Date: July 4 | 6 – 9:45 p.m.

Galveston Island hosts a lively parade along the Seawall, followed by a stunning fireworks display at 9:15 p.m. Enjoy the show with the beautiful Gulf of Mexico as the backdrop and sync the fireworks with music using the Pyro App.
